Suzy Kolber was born Suzanne Lisa Kolber on May 14th of 1964, in Philadelphia Pennsylvania to a Jewish family. Suzy Kolber has reached the age of at 58. Her mother's name is Sandra Kolber and her father is Gene Kolber. Her school was Sandy Run Middle School in Dresher Pennsylvania and is a 1982 student at Penn's Upper Dublin High School. She graduated with an Associate of Arts in Telecommunications from The University of Miami, in 1986. While a student at the college, she obtained a job in Dynamic cable in Coral Gables Florida as a Sports Director. The company also hired her at Dynamic Cable during two years, beginning in 1984 until 1986. She was also on the water skiing team in the University of Miami. While in New York City, Plaza attended the Tisch School of the Arts at New York University and attended improv class within The Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre. In 2006, she graduated with an education in TV and film production. She was just 20 when she suffered an injury to her brain that resulted in temporary expressive aphasia (a deficit in expression and understanding of language).
