Annie Mist Thorisdottir comes from Iceland's Reykjavik. She is an Icelandic CrossFit pro-athlete. She also is the founder of Crossfit Reykjavik and runs it in addition. Annie is the only woman to take home the CrossFit Games twice. She won the CrossFit Games in 2010 and finished 2nd. Annie Thorisdottir is an Icelanders weightlifter CrossFit champion, and a popular media figure. The media has praised her for being the only woman to ever win two CrossFit Games: in 2011 and 2012. The winner in the Dubai Fitness Competition 2013 and 2017, Annie is well-known. Annie, her parents, as well as her siblings, were born and raised in Reykjavik Iceland. Annie also won the CrossFit Games in 2012 due to her impressive performance. It was her first time as a female athlete to win the two CrossFit Games at once. She also took home a gold. Then in 2021 she took home the bronze medal. Annie is currently a trainer as well as a trainer for Crossfit Reykjavik, which she founded. Annie's growing popularity as an athlete has made her the face of many sporting brands, such as Reebok Rogue Fitness Transparent Labs Rennaisance Nuunhydration and Periodization Sidekicks Yerb. Her own Youtube channel, which is named "Annie" and has more than 1,000 viewers. This is where she shares videos about eating habits, parenting and traveling.
